Yadea, a leading two-wheel EV brand, exhibited wireless charging and smart voice interaction technologies at the 15th Wuxi International Electric Vehicle Exhibition in Wuxi, China.
The global electric two-wheeler industry is taking off in a big way, spurred on by a heightened focus on environmental protection, new policies and shifting attitudes to public transportation because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Two-wheelers are going electric faster than any other segment of road transportation, and electric two-wheelers account for 35% of new sales globally.
The growth in sales has brought a lot of new companies into the market. In recent years, Yadea has expanded its R&D capabilities to strengthen its competitive advantage in electric two-wheeler technologies. At the exhibition, the company showcased its newly upgraded advanced Smart series. These vehicles have a new navigation system, improved call functions, music entertainment and voice interaction.
It has integrated multiple information systems using cloud deployment and modular configuration, becoming the first two-wheeler brand to realise China’s Internet Plus plan.
Apart from this, the company offers a graphene battery, integrated side-mounted motor, adaptive motor, intelligent control system and other technologies.
Yadea’s products — electric motorcycles, mopeds, bicycles and kick scooters — are now sold in 88 countries with more than 35,000 retail stores worldwide.
